A Controlled Touch for Hand SandingIdeal for use with 3M Stikit Sheet Rolls, our 3M Stikit Soft Hand Pad provides a soft, controlled touch for light scuff sanding or sanding around contours. Its blend of flexible support creates an ideal balance, helping technicians to maintain a clear “feel" during auto body work such as leveling and other surface prep applications requiring a finer grit abrasive. This pad helps eliminate finger marks and edge cutting into primer and paint. About Our Stikit SystemThe 3M Stikit system was designed for convenient changes between abrasive grades or applications. Stikit abrasive rolls come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to the Soft Hand Pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. Yet they remove cleanly without adhesive residue left on the block. This makes for very fast change-outs, saving time, and prolongs the life of abrasives. Better Sanding from 3MA soft, flexible pad and our patented Stikit system combine to make hand sanding easier, faster and more effective. The features built into our 3M Stikit Soft Hand Pad afford a controlled touch, consistent facing that eliminates finger marks or edge cutting into primed surfaces and fast, convenient sheet roll changes ‐ simply better sanding for smoother collision repair operations.
