Aluminum Oxide Provides Performance and Savings 3Ms durable, reliable and economical mineral abrasive saves material costs while delivering dependable results in collision repair. Aluminum oxide is popular among collision repair professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral is suitable for a wide variety of metalworking materials including ferrous alloys. Our Stikit Attachment System 3M Stikit discs come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs - simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you're ready to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit disc should be used with a 3M Stikit Disc Pad (sold separately) on a random orbital sander. Stikit discs are available as disc rolls: multiple adhesive-backed discs rolled around a core and tear off conveniently one at a time, eliminating the need for liners for added cost savings. A Comprehensive Range of Economical Sanding Discs The 3M Hookit Red Abrasive Disc 316U carries our Red designation which indicates an economical option in an abrasive disc. From its abrasive to its adhesive-backed attachment, this disc delivers durability and reliability across your entire collision repair operation.
